Two issues in and Punk Rock Jesus has established itself as one of my favourite miniseries of the year (so far), vying with Abnett and Culbard’s superb The New Deadwardians. The focus of the latest issue remains with (non-doubting) Thomas and his redemption (although his earlier actions remain concealed), rather than Chris – ‘miracles’ aside. Murphy, once again, has woven satire and science fiction with aplomb. This week Murphy was interviewed by NonCanonical (122, 45min mark) and has listed original artwork for sale. My only concern regards the pace at which this series will conclude – being scheduled for 6 issues only.
